2021…what a year!!
I can’t believe it’s so close to Christmas already!
What a year it has been… from literally nothing to full on weddings, then totally a mad Christmas season. I remember I promised myself that I would never complain about my job after the first lockdown in 2020, but I have to admit I did moan quite a bit in the last few weeks…
My plan was to upload a blog at least once a month, but it all went out of the window once I got busy with all the weddings. I will try to be better at this next year!
These are some of the highlights this year. I couldn’t put all the pictures up unfortunately, but each one of the weddings was so special to me.

After the crazy wedding season, it was all about Christmas! Christmas starts in November (or earlier) for us florists. I didn’t do my usual Christmas wreath workshops as I was so worried about how Covid would be behaving. I was glad I made the decision as I could have easily caught it and ended up cancelling all of the classes. Instead, I freelanced at a few different places in London and I also took bespoke wreath orders locally. It has been an intense 5 weeks I must say!
2022 is looking quite full on with weddings already as I still have couples from 2020. I keep my fingers and toes crossed for a normal wedding season!
But for now, I will put my feet up and look after my hands, drink & eat and spend time together with my family. Poor kids didn’t see much of me in the last few weeks, and I feel so guilty about it.
I wish you all a lovely Christmas and New Year. Stay safe everyone!
