I’m Yoko.
I live in Cheam with my lovely husband and 2 not-so-little kids.
I started learning flower arranging in Japan in 2001 after my mum passed away. Quickly I got obsessed, quit uni and came to the UK in 2002 to take my floristry studies further at college. I also began working at a local flower shop in St. Albans, Hertfordshire.
Since then I’ve worked for many top florists in London as well as in Japan. I feel so lucky and privileged to have had all those opportunities in my 20s.
Becoming a mother completely changed my priorities, but I couldn’t bear the thought of not working with flowers, so I have decided to set up my own business.
I now provide wedding and event flowers in London and Surrey. I also work with some incredibly talented stylists and photographers on amazing photoshoots.
I have been asked “What’s your style? “ quite a lot. But I think I am a bit like a chameleon… my work changes depending on my clients’ vision. If I’m given free rein, I like it natural, seasonal, a bit wild and free.
